People and their skills are the most valuable asset in any company.
And yet, many companies have little accounting and control of them.
Knowing which people have which skills could be helpful in many areas:
employee training, promotion, and forming teams with the required resources.
Solution
Our Skills application has been designed by a business consultant who was
assisting companies in solving exactly this type of problem.
The solution is web-based and can be deployed to intranet or Internet. It gives users
and their supervisors direct control over skillset accounting. Employees can modify
their skill level and request a review with the supervisor. The system administrator
maintain an inventory of skills and roles. Managers can use the system to
assemble teams with the required skills.
The software has gone through a number of releases, driven by user demand. It can additionally
be integrated with other HR systems.
